A diving accident in 1967 left Mrs. Tada a quadriplegic in a wheelchair, unable to use her hands. During two years of rehabilitation, she spent long months learning how to paint with a brush between her teeth. Her high detail fine art paintings and prints are sought after and collected.

David was born in Long Beach, CA & after High School, attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, where he graduated with a B.A. in Bible, Greek, & Ancient History. After college, David attended Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, IN, where he received his M. Div. degree in Biblical Studies. David also continued graduate studies & received a Doctor of Ministry degree as well as a Ph.D. degree in Biblical Studies and languages. David also received a Doctor of Laws degree, being honored by Biola University.

Following graduation from The London School of Theology he served eight years in Scotland at both Charlotte Chapel in Edinburgh and Hamilton Baptist Church. Since 1983, he has been the senior pastor at Parkside Church near Cleveland, Ohio. He has written several books and is heard daily and weekly on the radio program, Truth For Life. The teaching on Truth For Life stems from the week by week Bible teaching at Parkside Church. He and his wife, Susan, have been married 32 years and they have three grown children.
