About KRDU
KRDU first hit the airwaves on December 19th, 1946. Original owners/operators Egon and David Hofer are recognized as having put the first commercial Christian radio station in the nation on the air. David Hofer was later elected President of National Religious Broadcasters; an amazing honor for a former Dinuba farmer.
Here in the 21st Century, KRDU continues the Hofers' philosophy of bringing Christian talk and teaching programs to Fresno, Visalia, and all of Central California. A growing emphasis at KRDU is spotlighting the great work being accomplished through local churches and ministries.
